White House Staffers Couldn’t Care Less About the East Wing Demolition
Despite the uproar surrounding the White House’s decision to demolish the historic East Wing, many staffers seem unfazed by the controversy.
One aide, who preferred to remain anonymous, stated, “Honestly, we have more pressing matters to attend to than the preservation of a building.”
Another staffer commented, “It’s just a building. Our focus is on serving the country and supporting the President.”
While some critics have labeled the demolition as disrespectful to the nation’s history, others argue that it is a necessary step to modernize the White House.
Regardless of the differing opinions, it appears that the majority of White House staffers are focused on their duties and not the demolition.
One longtime employee even joked, “As long as the Oval Office is still standing, we’ll manage.”
With the East Wing demolition scheduled to begin next month, it remains to be seen if any staff members will speak out against the decision.
For now, it appears that the White House staffers couldn’t care less about the controversy surrounding the demolition.
